Our team is raising funds for congenital heart defect research - join us!
Why give? Congenital heart defects are the most common birth defect in the nation, impacting ONE in every 110 babies each year. The Children’s Heart Foundation exists to make sure these babies, babies like Pierce, live long and healthy lives.
Pierce was born a seemingly health boy; however, two days following his birth, his pediatrician noticed a heart murmur during a routine visit to the hospital. A cardiology consult revealed that Pierce has Tetralogy of Fallot, a complex condition comprised of four heart defects: pulmonary valve stenosis, ventricular septal defect, overriding aorta, and right ventricular hypertrophy.
Pierce would require open heart surgery at seven weeks of age. His surgery was successful, and today he is a thriving, active boy. Please help fund CHD research by joining Pierce's Pack. Together we can make a life-saving difference!
