2022 W. Michigan Congenital Heart Walk

Loving Lyndi

Our team is raising funds for congenital heart defect research - join us!

Why give? Congenital heart defects are the most common birth defect in the nation, impacting ONE in every 110 babies each year. The Children’s Heart Foundation exists to make sure these babies - and everyone impacted by CHDs - live long and healthy lives. Because of research, today there is greater hope for babies born with, and adults living with, congenital heart defects.

Lyndi was born in February of 2020 with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. In her 2.5 years of life she has undergone 6 open heart surgeries. In July 2021 it was discovered that she had developed critical pulmonary vein stenosis, with her left pulmonary veins completely disconnected from her heart. She currently has no interventions left. The research that The Children’s Heart Foundation provides funding for every year is critical in providing more options for children and adults living with CHD.

Help us reach our fundraising goal by making a donation today. You can also become a member of our team and join us at the walk!

Thank you in advance for your support!
