Sejal Heart Warrior
Our team is raising funds for congenital heart defect research in celebration of Sejal's 2nd birthday - join us!
At 32 weeks pregnant, we got the diagnosis that Sejal had TAPVR which would require open-heart surgery right after birth. The team at UCSF successfully repaired her defect and she spent four weeks in the Cardiac ICU. Countless physicians, nurses, teachers, friends and family members have supported us as we have navigated nurturing a child with a congenital heart defect. Their help has truly been invaluable.
Sejal is now thriving. She is boisterous, adventurous, and curious. Even precocious. She is strong and healthy, and we feel so optimistic about her future.
The Children's Heart Foundation helps secure funding for the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects. We are so grateful for all the medical advancements that have made Sejal's early diagnosis and successful treatment possible, and want to do everything we can to help other families with CHD babies. This research is life-changing for so many families, including ours.
Please consider helping us reach our fundraising goal by making a donation today. We'll also be at the SF Zoo on August 13th - please join our team and walk with us!
Thank you in advance for your support!
