Baby Bruce on the Loose!
Our little Bruce was diagnosed with critical Aortic Stenosis in utero. Since then, Bruce's congenital heart defect (CHD) was monitored (and continues to be) closely. At birth, Bruce had a balloon procedure to help open his aortic valve. Every 2-3 months he is being evaluated at CHOP to monitor the status of his condition. At some point in the future, we were told Bruce will likely need surgical intervention. Raising funds for CHD research is not only critically important to all babies born with, and children and adults living with CHDs, it is also personally meaningful to me. Bruce's condition will need to be monitored throughout his long life. Advances in CHD research and treatment will only benefit our beautiful baby boy and perhaps change his treatment plans in the future.
By donating to help me reach my fundraising goal, you’re helping to fund the most promising research into CHDs - America’s most common birth defect.
Together we can make a life-saving difference! Thank you in advance for your support.
