Raising funds for congenital heart defect (CHD) research is not only critically important to all babies born with, and children and adults living with CHDs.  It is also personally meaningful to me because of my daughter Aurellia who has CHD.  She has an atrial septal defect, patent ovale foramen, cleft mitral valve, bicuspid instead of tricutricuspid aortic valve, pulmonary valve stenosis, anomalous right coronary artery, and supraventricular tachycardia most of which will need future surgical intervention.
