Walking in Memory of OUR WARRIOR, Omar David Spitz, ALL Heart Angels, and the many that continue their FIGHT!
Saturday, June 11th, we will be walking not only to raise funds for congenital heart defect (CHD) research, which is incredibly important, but to raise awareness, build community, support those families that have a Heart Warrior, and give strength to those families that have lost their Warrior.
Omar fought for 4 FULL years with a CHD called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and lost his fight from complications after his 3rd surgery called the Fontan. 1 in 3,841 babies are born with this serios heart defect. Medical advancements continue to improve with the research and your support. Thank you so very much.
Raising funds for CHD research is not only critically important to all babies born with, and children and adults living with CHDs, it is also personally meaningful to me.
By donating to help me reach my fundraising goal, you’re helping to fund the most promising research into CHDs - America’s most common birth defect.
Together we can make a life-saving difference! Thank you in advance for your support.
