Join me in supporting congenital heart defect research!
Raising funds for congenital heart defect (CHD) research is not only critically important to all babies born with, and children and adults living with CHDs, it is also personally meaningful to me.
As many of you know, I was born with a ventricular septal defect and underwent surgical repair as a young child at what was then known as Oakland Children’s Hospital (now UCSF Oakland). Many years later, I now have the honor of working at UCSF as a pediatric cardiologist, taking care of sweet little kiddos with congenital heart disease and helping to train the next generation of compassionate, innovative pediatric cardiology fellows.
By donating to help me reach my fundraising goal, you’re helping to fund the most promising research into congenital heart disease - the most common birth defect in the U.S.
Together we can make a life-saving difference! Thank you in advance for your support.
