Our team is raising critical funds for congenital heart defects! Congenital heart defects are the most commonly occurring birth defect, affecting approximately 1 in 110 babies born, or a child born every 15 minutes. Congenital heart defects are the leading cause of birth-defect related mortality.
On February 22nd, 2021, our Sweet Savannah Rose became a Heart Angel at just 14 months old. She spent the last 7 months of her life fighting to live in the PICU at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. Her battle with her congenital heart defect was cruel and unfair. She waited five long months for a heart transplant to save her life but unfortunately never received her miracle. Although our little Heart Angel was on earth for only a brief time, she inspired so many with her strength and resilience. We will always cherish the days we had with her and our hope is that we can make her proud every day going forward.
Every dollar in support of The Children’s Heart Foundation helps to further their mission: to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects.
