Long Island Congenital Heart Walk

Angela's Amazing Angels

Hi. My name is Angela LaBoccetta. I am seventeen years old. I was born with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot, which contains four defects of the heart. When I was five months old, I had open heart surgery and needed a valve put into my heart. After my surgery and recovery, I was just like any normal kid: I loved to ride my bike, play with my toys, and spend time with my family and friends. However, this valve only lasts for about 12 years, so I will need a valve replacement in the near future. Every year, my family, friends and I participate in the Long Island Congenital Heart Walk. In 2015, I started my own team called Angela's Amazing Angels. Over the last five years, we've raised thousands of dollars to support the Children's Heart Foundation. Without your donations and support, children like me would not be able to live long healthy lives. All the money raised will be used for research and treatment for congenital heart diseases. I am so excited for this years walk and would love for you to join and support my team! :)
