Virtual Congenital Heart Walk

Team Full of Hope

Team Full of Hope is raising critical funds for congenital heart defects. Congenital heart defects are the most commonly occurring birth defect, affecting approximately 1 in 110 babies born, or a child born every 15 minutes. Congenital heart defects are the leading cause of birth-defect related mortality.

Funded research is making a very big difference in the lives of CHD patients, helping to reduce incidences and increase survival, longevity and quality of life. Research has made a very big impact, and with survival and longevity increasing, even more research is needed to help address lifelong challenges that CHD patients will face. Every dollar in support of The Children’s Heart Foundation helps to further their mission: to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects.

We are participating in the Congenital Heart Walk in honor of Asher. Asher was born in July 2019 with a critical CHD called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He had his first open heart surgery at just five days old and his second open heart surgery at five months old. He'll face a third heart surgery in a few years. The surgeries are not a cure and unless we find a cure Asher will be fighting CHD his whole life. We are Full of Hope that by supporting organizations such as the Children's Heart Foundation that there will be a cure for CHD in Asher's lifetime. Please join us and help Asher and the CHD community know that their fight is our fight.

Please support our team, join us for the Congenital Heart Walk, or both!
