Our team is raising critical funds for congenital heart defects! Congenital heart defects are the most commonly occurring birth defect, affecting approximately 1 in 110 babies born, or a child born every 15 minutes. Congenital heart defects are the leading cause of birth-defect related mortality.
Funded research is making a very big difference in the lives of CHD patients, helping to reduce incidences and increase survival, longevity and quality of life. Research has made a very big impact, and with survival and longevity increasing, even more research is needed to help address lifelong challenges that CHD patients will face. Every dollar in support of The Children’s Heart Foundation helps to further their mission: to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects.
Please support our team, join us for the Congenital Heart Walk, or both! We will be walking in LA on Sunday, May 17th, 2020. We will also be having an oragami owl fundraiser where 100% of the profits will be donated to our team for this walk, a bunco fundraiser, a Quakes baseball night, and wish bracelet sales all of which the proceeds will be donated to The Children's Heart Foundation through our team page Khloe's Cause.
We walk in hopes to raise awareness and funds in hopes that no other parent will have to go through out journey and the heart wrenching pain of losing a child.
Thank in in advance for all of your support!

The Cole Family
Khloe Faith Cole was born “twin A” on March 13, 2018 in Orange, Ca. Delivered 33 weeks premature; weighing 2 pounds 5 ounces, 14 inches long.
Khloe was born with a large vsd (hole) in her heart and a narrow aeoric arch which was discovered while in the womb. Upon birth she was admitted to Children's hospital of Orange County (CHOC) NICU. Due to her small size, at 3 weeks old Khloe was flown to San Francisco for emergency open heart surgery at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Dr. Reedy and team performed successful surgery on Khloe weighing just 2 pounds 9 ounces. After her recovery from surgery Khloe was flown back to CHOC to continue with her NICU care. Khloe was thriving; gaining weight and completely off oxygen only needing to take the bottle to be discharged when suddenly she got real sick real fast. It was discovered that Khloe had pulmonary stenosis and pulmonary artery hypertension for which was so severe there was no medical answer to fix this diagnosis.
Khloe passed away June 22, 2018.
If you would like to know more about her journey please reach out to us or follow her facebook page Khloe's Cause.
