Welcome to My Personal Page for Bridger's Buddies
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Congenital Heart Walk. Our family will be walking in the Hershey Walk on August 1, 2021. Raising funds for CHD research is critically important to all Heart Warriors and Heart Angels, and personally very meaningful to me. As many of you know, my nephew Bridger was born in 2014 with a Congenital Heart Defect. After multiple procedures, open heart surgeries, and regular checkups, he is now a 6 year old headed to 1st grade this fall. His life has been made possible by the doctors and research that has happened over the last 80+ years, but there is still so much more to do to help him, help other children with CHD's, and all of the families affected by this. Did you know the first heart operation on a baby was performed in 1944 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, which is just 70 miles from where we live in Pennsylvania? This first surgery corrected the baby's Tetralogy of Fallot, which is one of the defects Bridger's heart was born with.
Please help us to fund CHD research by making a donation to my personal fundraising page or to anyone else on the Bridger's Buddies Team! Together we can make a life-saving difference!
